Diamond Lil
Diamond Lil was rescued in May of 2006 from a slaughter house. At that time she was (at best guess) 6 years old and weighed in at only 473 pounds, not even Alan's vet at the time gave her much of a chance of survival. 14 months later Diamond Lil made her first American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) cross country endurance ride. To everyone's surprise, Diamond Lil won her class. Since then she has competed in 11 AERC rides, with 10 top 10 finishes and 4 of those while pregnant! Because of the misfortune that fell on Diamond Lil before coming here, we have no papers on her and have no idea of her pedigree. We do ask that if you have any idea what her registered name is, please contact us and let us know.
