FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Little Gems Moonstone finishes his first season.Today's Date -- November 11, 2010 Little Gems Moonstone finished his yearling season with the Ellis County Equine Association (ECEA). He brought home more than 20 ribbons, 4 of which were first place. The classes included Stallions All Ages, Spotted Color and In Hand Trail. At the end of the season he scored enough points in In Hand Trail that he won Reserve Champion Yearling Performance Horse of 2010. Getting a late start for the season, Little Gems Moonstone missed the first scored event of the series with the ECEA, and at the second event (his first with the ECEA) the in hand trail was all new to both horse and handler. When the event was over Karen told Alan that he was going to be building the same type of obstacles at home to train with. The result was outstanding performances in the remaining shows.
